1. Before doing any work, turn off the main circuit breaker and the pool light.

2. Remove enough water from the pool so that you can work on the light safely without getting wet in the face.

3. If required, take out the current pool light fixture.

4. Carefully screw and bolt the new light fixture into the mounting niche, making sure they are snug.

5. In accordance with local regulations and the manufacturer's instructions, connect the light fixture's wires to the electrical supply.

6. To stop any water leaks, install the lens cover and gasket on the lamp, ensuring sure they are snug and secure.

7. Restart the electricity to the electrical components, including the pool light.

8. Add more water to the pool and test the new light to make sure it works correctly.
